Every week the Fox teams up with the Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton Kent for Feel Good Friday!  Sharing things you can do to take care of yourself, focus on your mental health and help you FEEL GOOD!

 

“This week for Feel Good Friday we are focusing on self-compassion. Take a moment to think about how you treat yourself when you make a mistake or fail to reach a goal. Forgiving and nurturing yourself and having strong self-compassion can set the stage for better health, relationships, and well-being. Research shows that self-compassionate people recognize when they are suffering and are kind to themselves can show lower rates of anxiety and stress. Try writing a letter to yourself and nurture your feelings, encourage yourself, and practice mindfulness!”
