Feel Good Friday – Preparing For The Holidays

Every Friday the Fox teams up with the Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton Kent for Feel Good Fridays.  Sharing things you can do to take care of yourself, focus on your mental health and help you FEEL GOOD!

Now that it’s December, this week we are talking about preparing for the holidays!  For some people, that doesn’t always bring happiness.

If you can’t be with a loved one this year, it’s okay to express and acknowledge your feelings about that.  Trying to force yourself to be happy can only increase your stress levels.  Don’t ever be ashamed of your feelings.   By opening up about them, being HONEST with yourself and how you feel, you are HELPING your mental health and you will feel much better after expressing yourself.
