The Power Of Enough
If there’s one thing the pandemic has taught me, is that our perception of “enough” can change.
I regret not buying that cottage a few years ago; now the price has tripled. We’re in the process of beautifying our outdoor living space and I want it done, like yesterday. But then I think why did those home renos not happen earlier? We were busy raising our kids, spending on extra-curriculars, making sure THEY had enough.
So is it our time now? Frankly, I’m tired of looking around and comparing with the Jones’s. I’m thankful for what I have. Great kids & spouse, a roof over our heads, food in the fridge & on the table; what more do I need? I don’t really. Do you?
I have enough.
