How To Make The Friends Salad From Jennifer Aniston

According to this article, Jennifer Aniston ate the same salad on the Friends set for years.  10 years.  And she made enough to share with her famous co-workers Lisa Kudrow and Courtney Cox.

A simple salad.  NO DRESSING.

I don’t know if I even want to try it.  But Jennifer Aniston made it and ate it for 10 years.  Every single day.

That’s commitment.

Or fear of trying new things.

Salad doesn’t make me get excited about lunch, but I’m willing to try it and see.  I’ll let you know.


How to Make the Friends Salad from Jennifer Aniston

1 cup of bulgur
2 diced cucumbers
1 (15-oz) can of chickpeas, rinsed and drained
¼ cup finely diced red onion
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
½ cup crumbled feta cheese
½ cup salted pistachios, chopped

Cook bulgur according to package instructions, and allow to cool completely.
In a large bowl, stir together all ingredients until well combined.

Serve right away, or move to an airtight container to store in the fridge for up to a week.
