Feel Good Fridays are BACK!

Every week the Fox teams up with the Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton Kent for Feel Good Friday.  We share things you can do to take care of yourself, focus on your mental health and help you feel good!

We know a lot of people can start to feel down this time.  Fall can be hard.  Less daylight.  Colder weather.  But if you are looking for something positive to focus on – how about starting a new routine?

Don’t wait for January 1st!  Fall can be a great time of year to establish a new routine!  By setting up a routine for yourself, you can set aside time to take care of those things you need to do and focus on your mental health.

Routines can help alleviate anxiety, promote healthy habits like healthy eating, and can help combat burnout.

Start by picking a few small things each week to work on – you might choose to cut out a bad habit like spending too much time on social media or adding something new like spending more time with family members.

Making changes can be hard but your mental health will thank you for it!

Tell us – what will you work on?  Text us 519-464-1999 or email [email protected]

I know for me, I need to work on a morning routine.  Things I need to do in the morning so I can get things done and get out the door on time.  I also need to readjust my work routine.  I find they help me focus on what needs to get done, and helps me stay away from distractions.

Let’s do it!  Let’s work on building new routines.
