Stuff The Studio

 

Mark August 13th on your calendar and help us STUFF THE STUDIO with Back to School Supplies for the Inn of the Good Shepherd! We need your help to make Back to School better for local families in need.

We’ve teamed up with Lambton College once again for our 2nd annual Stuff the Studio event.

 

 

Here’s how it works, on Wednesday August 13th 99.9 the FOX, Cool 106.3 and Country 103.9 CHOK will be making the front parking lot at 1415 London Road their Studio for the day starting at 7am!

Blue Coast Realty Ltd. Brokerage has lent us their truck and it will be there ready and waiting to be filled with School Supplies.

We’ll have Coffee and Goodies (for donation) for the Early Birds thanks to the Coffee Lodge and will be serving up HotDogs and Hamburgers (for donation) thanks to Blackburn Media, The Real Canadian SuperStore, Porky’s BBQ Spa and Leisure, Metro London Road and Shoppers Drug Mart Northgate from 11-2p.

We’ll also have your chance to win some cool prizes thanks to Sylvan Learning Centre, Lambton Mall, Manley’s Basics, All Out Ninja, and Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Sarnia!!

(make sure you ask Manley’s about their Back to School Kits they have for the Inn!)

Last year the Inn of the Good Shepherd provided 1000 backpacks, filled with supplies specific to grades. Both elementary and Secondary.

  • Crayons
  • Pencils
  • Pencil Crayons
  • Sharpeners

  • Rulers
  • Erasers
  • Pencil Cases
  • Math Sets
  • Calculators
  • Scientific Calculators

  • Binders
  • Notebooks
  • Paper
  • Graph Paper
  • Backpacks
  • Refillable Water Bottles and more!

The Inn places these in a new backpack along with a few snacks and drink boxes. So snack items would also be much appreciated.
And of course MONETARY DONATIONS are always welcome, we will have a donation bin on site.

We want those kids to walk to school that first day with that backpack on their back, just like any other child. We don’t want them getting to school and not having the supplies and kind of being centered out a bit. –Myles Vanni from the Inn of the Good Shepherd.
