Taylor Swift revealed a clip of her re-recorded version of “Love Story” in Ryan Reynolds’ new Match.com ad.
The clip shows Satan falling in love with a woman named 2020, but according to E! it also shows a subtle dig at Scooter Braun.
Eagle-eyed viewers will notice that in the background of the ad, a discarded scooter sits on the ground in front of a dumpster with the number six spray-painted on the wall behind it to symbolize the number of masters that Taylor will re-record.
Braun took ownership of Swift’s catalog in June 2019 and sold them to Shamrock holdings in November 2020. On November 16th, Swift revealed she already started re-recording her music catalog, which includes the albums Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989 and Reputation.
