THE OREMAKINDE TRIO
This morning the Fox welcomed Sarnia’s Oremakinde Trio to the studio.
6 year old Adetoun, 12 year old Adetomiwa and 13 year old Iyunola
Adetoun goes to Gregory Hogan while her two older siblings go to St. Anne’s.
They started learning guitar and piano remotely by zoom during COVID where there was no outdoor activity.
When they become hyperactive because of lack of outdoor activities, their parents encouraged them to sing and play musical instruments to distract them. Being indoor for months they spent time playing with both piano and guitar. They also subsequently got used to playing together as siblings and singing together as siblings since there was no way to visit friends and family.
They obviously had natural talent now they perform at nursing homes every Sunday along with churches, local Christmas events and local outreaches.
To enhance their musical abilities they also researched and learned how to record and produce their own video which can be viewed on Youtube.
