TRUTH & RECONCILIATION DAY
September 30th, Orange Shirt day, is the National day for Truth and Reconciliation – A time to honour the survivors, those who never returned home, and reflect upon the impact left on indigenous communities across the country.
As more light is shed on these horrific truths, Canadians want to know how they can help, and learn more. The Aamjiwnaang Community encourages you to:
– Familiarize yourself with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission reports.
– Watch the documentary ‘We Are Still Here’
– And educate today’s youth through healthy discussion.
