BTS, a Korean boy band, their first album came out in 2013. They are huge in South Korea. It wasn’t until 2017 that they started getting North American attention.
What does BTS stand for?? A few things…. it is Korean phrase Bangtan Sonyeondan, this translates into Bulletproof Boy Scouts. However, they are also known as Bangtan Boys and have adapted their BTS name to also stand for ‘Beyond The Scene’.
They are a group of 7, their music spans several genres. They have won numerous awards. They have an enormous fan base, 18 million strong, their called the BTS ARMY. You’ll find some more of the staggering stats HERE
Did I mention that all but two of their songs are all in Korean!?!
Dynamite was their first all English song and today’s You Say It, We Play It Song BUTTER is the 2nd. Some are calling the Song of the Summer…
