and there is no doubt in our minds that moving is one of the most stressful events in life, so much so that 1 in 5 were put off from ever moving again….
Here’es the list of the most annoying things about moving, according to 200 North American adults:
1. Booking hook-ups for services like heat, hydro or internet service
2. Making my old home move-in ready & clean
3. Mother Nature Raining on moving day parade
4. The new home being dirty
5. Waiting on a move-in date
5. Redirecting the mail
6. Waiting for internet installers to show up
7. Having to pin up bedsheets in windows because curtains and/or blinds didn’t come with the sale.
8. Underestimating doorways & entrances to get furniture in.
9. Spending lots of time packing
10. Realising the new neighbors were probably one of the reasons the sellers sold the house.
