Home efficiency is big on the brains of Home Owners & Renters these days. We want  to streamline utility use even more than we already do. So it looks like the bathroom is one area of the house that’s always overlooked.

From toilets to tubs, bathroom appliances can play a major role in a home’s overall energy consumption. So Reliance, says if we do these next things, we’ll be well on our way to saving energy and money….T

  1. Watch Those Toilets: If your water bills have suddenly gone way up, the culprit might be a leaky toilet. And if it needs replacing, call a plumber and think low-flow!
  2.  Go Low Flow For Your Shower Head : Showerheads are adjustable and the flow can be reduced and still be just as effective. Save yourself some money and go low; it equals way less water use!
  3. Think About Going Tankless: A tankless system only warms up when it’s in use, so right there it’s more efficient…I was just at Sarnia Heating & Cooling and  they can answer all your questions on tankless systems.
  4. Turn Off the Tap: Did you know thousands of liters of water are wasted every year by us because we forgot to turn off the faucet when we’re not using it? Wet the toothbrush and turn off the tap. Lather up the cleanser for your face and turn off the water while you’re lathering up…..
  1. Turn Off the Fan When You Leave The Throne Room: If the stink is gone, don’t leave it on!
