What Disney Movie Or Character Did You Identify With Growing Up?
I’m 51 now. But growing up in Toronto in the 70’s, there weren’t a lot of people that looked like me or my family in my neighborhood or at school; My Mom, with her strong Island roots, worried about this..
So whenever my Mom found something that we might identify with, she snapped it up; whether it was a Barbie Doll of color or Cabbage Patch Kid. I think I was 15 the last time Mom bought my sister and I dolls, because she found them at at department store. It was rare to find them and if they did exist, they’d sell out quicker than we could get to them.
The new Disney/Pixar shorts movie, Loop, many will identify with. Bravo Disney for a step in the right direction.
