Could Taylor Swift Be Playing The Superbowl Halftime Show?
We will have to wait til 2pm this afternoon to find out what next big thing Taylor Swift is going to reveal.
You have to admit, this girl knows how to make an announcement.
Her website today is this – with a countdown to something coming at 2pm today.
Fans are speculating, after watching and listening very intently, to the podcast that came out last week with her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason – New Heights – that Taylor dropped some pretty big Easter Eggs that offer some insight into some pretty big things coming.
Like the Superbowl Halftime show in 2026.
Swifties are really good detectives. They are always on the case. And this time, they are convinced by her obsession with sourdough bread, that she’s about to reveal she’s doing the halftime show.
This is why Swifties are convinced. We know that the 2026 Super Bowl marks the 60th NFL championship, and the game will be played at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Feb. 8, 2026. Levi’s Stadium is home to the San Francisco 49ers.
This is how it all connects with Swifties.
The podcast was a lengthy conversation about a lot of things. Taylor opens up about her high-profile romance with Travis – they talk about how they met. His eagerness to meet her and want to date the superstar. They talk about buying back her master recordings and she announced her upcoming 12th album. She talked about the Era’s Tour, and how it pretty much inspired the new album. She shared what life was like after two years on tour, admitting she has a few “granny” hobbies, including her obsession with baking sourdough bread. Admitting -“I’m really talking about bread 60% of the time now,”
Fans know that Taylor is KNOWN for being very intentional with her words and actions, so it’s no surprise that fans have clung to every word or action in this podcast.
What they are saying?
60% may not be a random number, and instead could have been a reference to Super Bowl 60. Plus, the mascot for the San Francisco 49ers, the home team of Super Bowl 60’s Levi’s Stadium? SOURDOUGH SAM!
The official TikTok account for the 49ers has joined in on the fun. The team posted a TikTok – a video of Levi’s Stadium’s exterior set to the memorable line of dialogue from “Jersey Shore,” “What’s going on here? Why is everyone acting weird towards me?”
“weird that 4+9 is…13,” one user commented on the post, referring to a number long associated with Swift.
On top of that, Swifties also noticed a few other random numbers Taylor mentioned during the “New Heights” interview. At the start, she thanked Jason for his introduction, saying “Thank you for screaming for, like, 47 seconds for me.” Later in the podcast, when asked how many countries she visited for the “Eras Tour” her answer was “47, 000”. (The real answer was 21 countries). Fans did their sleuthing and realized the 47th show of the tour was at Levi’s Stadium. Huh.
There is also the number 13 in the mix. The “New Heights” episode came out on Aug. 13. Add 13 to 47? 60. Plus, the 2025-2026 NFL season will be Travis Kelce’s 13th season.
How do they do it? How do they figure this all out?
Maybe Taylor gave a big hint on the podcast that when it comes to her planting Easter eggs, “I love numerology. I love math stuff. I love dates.”
But that’s not all. Look at the background. Taylor and Travis Kelce recorded the podcast together and sat in front of a bookshelf that we already know was filled with Easter eggs. Fans spotted four boxes in orange, red, blue and silver, labeled with “T.S.” on the front – which we now know represents the four deluxe editions of “The Life of the Showgirl.”
Also on the shelf? A statue resembling the iconic Vince Lombardi trophy, awarded to each year’s Super Bowl champs. Maybe not an Easter Egg, because both Travis and Jason have actually WON the Super Bowl over the years they have played with the NFL, so maybe that’s NOT an Easter egg? Or maybe it is? Fans noticed it’s on it’s side, which could mean we’re halfway to the halftime show?
In the podcast Taylor shares “I want Easter eggs to be a certain thing, where if you are a part of the fandom and you want to experience music in a normal way, then you don’t even see these. You don’t even care what that thing is above that doorway, under that dimly lit flickering light over there that’s upside down in Braille. You don’t need to know what that is.” It’s in that moment, some TikTok users slowed down the footage of Taylor and believe she might have been pointing to the trophy.
What do you think? Taylor Swift as the halftime performer at Super Bowl 60?
Stay tuned!!!!!
