New Music Monday – Lola Young “Messy”

Lola is an English singer and songwriter from Beckenham, South London.  She grew up in a musical family and started playing piano at six years old.  She learned to play guitar and took singing lessons and by age 11 had developed a deep love for songwriting.

This song ‘Messy’, was awarded BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record when it first came out.  It’s continuing to climb the charts and has already earned over 8.7 million streams here in Canada alone.
