World’s Best Lasagna?
I love trying new recipes and I’m adding this one to my collection. It’s true, I still print recipes and keep all the favourites in a binder in my kitchen.
“The World’s Best Lasagna” has officially been crowned. Created by John Chandler, this combination of sweet Italian suasage, ground beef and ricotta cheese has been one of the most oopular recipes on AllRecipes.com for many years and as of today it has a 4.8 rating (out of 5 stars) and has been reviewed almost 15, 000 times.
In 2011, his then-girlfriend, who happened to be a big user of the recipe website, encouraged him to share the lasagna recipe online, so others could make it for themselves and review it.
The dish quickly earned a number of five-star reviews and climbed to the top of AllRecipes rankings.

I’ve made my mom’s recipe for years which is simple.
Oven ready lasagna noodles.
Ground beef.
Can of pasta sauce (usually garlic)
Mozerella cheese
Cottage cheese. (my mom always used cottage cheese and I think it’s because it’s cheaper – sometimes I will use Ricotta if I’m feeling fancy – lol)
But I’ve never tried adding sausage! I will put this on the list for this weekend.
What do you think is the secret to a great lasagna?
