New Music Monday – Post Malone (featuring Morgan Wallen)
Is Post Malone going country? He teased releasing a double album of country music back in April 2021, saying “I wanted to create something everybody can get down to. People who like country will like it. People who like folk will dig it. Even people who like pop will be into it.” He has said Johnny Cash was one of his main musical influences and that Dwight Yoakam’s band would help him make the album.
With the release of this single with Morgan Wallen, and after last months performance at Stagecoach music festival where he enlisted a number of country music stars like Brad Paisley, it looks like we won’t be waiting long.
