This episode of the Mel Robbins podcast deals with what every single one of us ladies puts up with.  Hormones.  Hormones effect everything.   Our moods, and our waistline.  And it’s hormones to blame when you hit that crazy period in your life where you have no idea why you feel so out of control and all over the place with your moods and why your waistline expands no matter what you do or what you eat or how much you exercise.

It’s a conversation that we don’t have enough.  And sometimes doctors aren’t exactly “helpful” in helping us to understand what is happening in our bodies and why we feel so out of control.

The bad news – it happens to all of us.

The good news – we can help ourselves feel better.

Sometimes we just need to be understood and feel validated.

I encourage you to listen to this podcast by Mel Robbins explaining hormones and their effect on our bodies.  How they change as we get older.  Why exercise is important (working out in the morning is best), the power of lifting weights, food matters too – protein needs to be boosted.

This was so incredibly helpful so I wanted to share with you so maybe you don’t feel so alone in the struggle.  And if you haven’t hit that stage in life – perimenopause or menopause – it’s coming!  lol   And what you do now could make life easier for you when it hits.
