That’s A Lot Of Dinosaurs
Here’s an event for the record books. More than 1,100 people put on inflatable dinosaur suits to attempt to set a world record in Dundurn, Saskatchewan, a small town of about 675 people. People came from as far away as Arizona, Vancouver Island, Edmonton and Winnipeg as well as nearby towns. Unofficially beating the record of 253 people dressed as dinosaurs.
The day was a family-friendly event with bouncy castles, food trucks, music and entertainment. The inflatable dinosaurs were encouraged to dance the macarena, do the chicken dance, and they even did a little line dancing to Billy Ray Cyrus Achy Breaky Heart.
And together they may have broken the World Record. The man who organized the event – Gary Grady – who owns a local tavern came up with the idea after watching other videos online and hopes to soon claim the record once it’s confirmed.
