“Take My Name,” which is “essentially a musical marriage proposal” (The Boot), became an early fan favorite after being teased on TikTok (before the song was even released).
Fans went a little crazy, trying to get their hands on it to use as their wedding song. Parmalee responded to the movement in a big way – they actually released a special “Wedding Version” – a softer, piano-focused version. The band has even gone so far as to crash a few weddings. Surprising a few couples on their wedding day.
Matt Thomas of the band says, “From the jump, the fans have really latched onto this song in such an amazing, lifechanging way—our fans have been the reason for so many of our own major milestones, so it means that much more to us that folks are our song for their proposals and weddings and allowing us to be a part of those major moments in their lives,”

We love watching them.”
