It’s another Feel Good Friday together with the Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton Kent – sharing simple things you can do to take care of yourself, focus on your mental health and help you feel GOOD!

Today we take a look at the power of what we eat.

“Have you heard of the gut-brain connection? Research shows that the food we put into our bodies can have a big effect on our mental health! Eating foods high in fibre, drinking plenty of water and getting more probiotics into your diet can keep your gut healthy and your mood stable. Getting your daily dose of Vitamin D through food is also important as sunlight decreases. Benefits include: decreased stress, boosts energy, and improved sleep!”
