The View From Here – Can We Talk About This Is Us?

I feel like we are going to need each other once this show wraps up.   It’s the end of This Is Us.  Six more episodes and then it’s done.  No more seasons.  No more show.  No more Jack and Rebecca.  No more “Big Three”.  No more Tuesday nights crying on the couch trying to process the emotions of the episode.

This show has been one of the greatest shows of all time.  (Insert Kanye West voice here).

The storylines.  Taking us through so many of life’s challenges.  Ups and downs.  Death. Tragedy. That stupid crockpot.

This show has managed to make us laugh, make us cry, make us feel all the emotions.  So relatable in so many ways.  We have fallen in love with the characters and felt a connection that is hard to explain.

Every time a season came to an end we wondered how they could possibly improve it.

Now we’re facing the end of the series and it’s going to be so hard to say goodbye to these characters.  It was hard enough saying goodbye to Jack.  Not ready for Rebecca.

The end of relationships.  Last night’s episode with Toby and Kate was a hard one to watch.  But it was so good and they handled the storyline so well.

Chris Sullivan, who plays Toby on the show, sat down  to discuss the end of “Katoby” and what he feels the show means to people and what we can learn from it.

Have you been watching?  How are you feeling as this show comes to an end?  I’m not ready for it to be over, but as Chris says in the article above “Nothing is meant to last for forever, including this show. But we are meant to take away lessons from every life experience, including this show. So this show has taught people about themselves, about what they do well, what they need to improve. And I hope people are asking themselves, where do I go from here? ”

So good and so hard to say goodbye and let go of.

Six more episodes.  I’m not ready to say goodbye.  Not yet.
