Feel Good Friday – Let’s Talk About Mental Health And Wellbeing

Every week we team up with the Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton Kent for Feel Good Fridays! Sharing ways you can continue to take care of yourself and your mental health.  Sharing things you can do to continue to feel good!  Which we all need right now.

This week’s Feel Good Friday is in honour of Bell Let’s Talk Day and helping others.

Evidence shows that helping others can also help benefit our own mental health and wellbeing. It can reduce stress and improve our mood, self-esteem and happiness.

Bell Let’s Talk offers ways to help others and end the stigma associated with mental health.

Stigma is the number one reason why those living with mental illness do not seek help.  By helping to end the stigma around mental illness, people can seek the help they need to create positive change.

Let’s raise awareness and end the stigma around mental health so that individuals feel comfortable asking for help! Talking about mental health, educating ourselves about mental health, and being kind are all ways to end stigma.
