The View From Here – I’m With Joy
I can’t do video chats. I hate them. I don’t do facetime and I hate everything Zoom. This pandemic has seen a lot of people gravitate to different video platforms to stay connected.
I’m with Joy on this one.
It feels like every flaw is exaggerated. You spend more time staring at yourself on the screen, looking for imperfections. “My God, why am I so UGLY?” has been said more times than I can count.
I would rather talk to someone on the phone and hear their voice.
