6 words and a theme song pretty much everyone knows by heart.
Queen Elizabeth is a big fan of the show so I’ve read and so is Blake Shelton – judging by how well he schooled Kelly Clarkson on her show recently. I never would have remembered Rose’s hometown. But Blake did. That’s a serious fan of the show.
There’s a lot that maybe you didn’t know about our favourite ladies. Like, why there was only ever three chairs in the kitchen when there are four ladies. Sophia (played by Estelle Getty) was younger than her on screen daughter (Bea Arthur). Interesting fact, Bea Arthur wasn’t wanted by NBC. She failed their audience likeability test. Good thing she pushed through.
The internet is a fun place. You can Google one thing and end up watching something else.
Listen to this GOSPEL version of the theme song. Blows my mind how good it is. Which also has taught me the Golden Girls theme song Gospel Challenge was a thing about four years ago and has since made a comeback.
