On Today’s Show – Not Yet Sarnia, No Screaming On The Rides, And Is It Cake Or Is It Real?
A mix of emotions today for us as we’re told Sarnia-Lambton will stay in Stage 2 of the province’s reopening. At least for now. How do you feel about that? Some mixed reaction for sure. It’s harder when other communities so close to us are moving on as of Friday. It’s been a long road. Hang in there Sarnia – we’re so close.

Even as some places re-open – there are still restrictions in place for everyone’s safety.
That includes amusement parks. I can’t imagine riding a roller coaster without screaming, or crying – or both – but one Japanese theme park says no screaming, no shouting. It asks riders to avoid screaming and instead “scream inside your heart”. Isn’t that what we’ve been doing throughout this crazy ride we call “2020”. To encourage people to play along, it’s getting riders to put on their most “serious face” for the ride photo and share it online in the #KeepASeriousFace challenge.

It’s easy to get bored during a pandemic lockdown. But staff at a U.K. nursing home found a genius way to pass the time: enlist the seniors living there to re-create classic album covers. In another home, seniors recreated famous paintings. Very cool. And so much fun!

Is it REAL or is it CAKE? That seems to be one of the biggest questions being asked right now with the latest trend taking over social media. It’s had to tell what is cake and what’s not until you cut into it and it’s messing with our minds in a big way. It’s an art technique that’s been around since the 19th century A concept of painting perspectives and scenes to look three-dimensional. But bakers have been taking it to another level using a combination of fondant, food paints and texture tools, to fool absolutely everyone.
Nobody seems to know what’s real or what’s cake anymore. And the reaction online is absolutely amazing.
