I Need Your Help!
Ladies I need your help.
I am one of the dancers in the upcoming Sarnia Dancing With the Stars and I need a dress. Actually – I need a few.
This upcoming charity event has local celebs partnered up for two dances each. One latin and one traditional ballroom.
I want to feel like Cinderella at the ball. I want to feel like a princess.
Like this dress (above) but maybe with a bit more “oomph”. Pizazz. Bling. Sparkle. Shine.
Sarnia Dancing With The Stars happens Saturday January 19th at the Quality Inn Point Edward and will benefit Community Concerns For The Medically Fragile.
I will be dancing with self proclaimed “Zumba Guy” Brian Slaughter (owner/instructor at The Studio on Colbourne). We have been working hard on learning our two dances since the end of October.
It has been challenging and so much fun. I went in scared to death, insecure and full of doubt.
It still feels overwhelming. The idea of dancing in front of a big crowd. Worried I’ll forget the moves. Or worse, fall on my face. Ha.
It’s been an incredible experience and I can’t even believe it’s almost over. A once in a lifetime opportunity for sure. I’m so thankful for everyone – mostly my dance partner Brian. For his patience, his kindness, his laughter, and his openness. I believe we meet people for a reason. Everyone teaches us something about this crazy life.
So please – if you can help a girlfriend out – I’m in search of “the perfect dress”. A fancy pair of ballroom shoes wouldn’t hurt either.
