Gillett Attempts To Change Men’s Behavior In This Ad Campaign

Gillette might be known for it’s razors, and catchy slogan – The Best A Man Can Get – but now they are taking on what is acceptable behavior from men. Gillette has just released a video about toxic masculinity, an attempt to change how men behave. And it’s brilliant.  In the age of #MeToo – Gillette realizes that as a company, they play a role in influencing culture and say that “As a company that encourages men to be their best, we have a responsibility to make sure we are promoting positive, attainable, inclusive and healthy versions of what it means to be a man.”

In this era of the #MeToo movement, Gillette knows we haven’t yet seen the best a man can get. This video tackles head on the issue of how men behave, and how society has almost allowed it.

Gillette is promising that from today on, they are pledging to actively challenge the stereotypes and expectations of what it means to be a man everywhere you see Gillette.  And on top of that – as part of the Best Men Can Be campaign, Gillette is committing to donate 1 million dollars per year for the next three years to non-profit organizations executing programs in the US designed to inspire, educate and help men of all ages achieve their personal “best” and become role models for the next generation.

That’s pretty cool.
