Feel Good Friday – After Holiday Letdown

Every Friday we team up with the Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton Kent for Feel Good Friday.  A chance to share things you can do to take care of yourself, focus on your mental health and FEEL GOOD!

So.  We did it.  We made it through the holidays and are a week into a brand new year. How are you feeling?

If you aren’t feeling happy, don’t be surprised.  After the holidays are over, many of us can experience seasonal blues.

Feeling a sense of letdown or disappointment is normal after a month of celebrations and finding out way back to a normal routine. If you are feeling this way, try making a list of what or who has helped you through difficult times in the past. Add things that you have done for yourself too! Keep this list for the next time that you might need it. We all have difficulties from time to time, but knowing what helps us can make a difference in how quickly we get through it.
