Every Friday the Fox teams up with the Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton Kent for Feel Good Friday! Sharing ways to take care of yourself, focus on your mental health and FEEL GOOD.

 

This week is all about positive affirmations!

Positive affirmations have the power to motivate you to act on certain things, help you to concentrate on achieving your goals in life, give you the power to change your negative thinking patterns and replace them with positive thinking patt

erns, and can reaffirm the positivity back into your life and increase your self-confidence.

For affirmations to really work, you need to repeat the affirmation every single day and BELIEVE the words you are saying.

 

So let’s do it.  Let’s write our own affirmation statement right now.   

 

To start, try these tips –

  • Think about the area of your life you’d like to change.
  • Be sure your affirmation is achievable.
  • Write your affirmation in the present tense
  • Say it with FEELING!
