TGIF!  It’s FRIDAY!  Feel Good Friday.  And we want you to feel GOOD!

That’s why we team up every Friday with the Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton Kent for Feel Good Fridays!  Together, we share things you can do to take care of yourself, focus on your mental health and FEEL GOOD!

This week, we’re talking about the power of connecting with friends and family.

We get it.  We’re all so busy.  Busy schedules make it easy to lose contact with people that we love and care about.   Just trying to keep up with day to day life is busy enough and it’s easy to get disconnected from the people that matter.  But, it’s important to STAY CONNECTED.  Making an effort to keep social connections can help create more strong emotional supports to lift you up through life’s challenges.

AND, to top it off, evidence shows that having these strong relationships are important for our well-being and can increase feelings of happiness and self-worth.

So here is your challenge for today – reach out to a friend or family member today.

Call.  Email.  Text.  Message them on social media.

REACH OUT AND CONNECT.

Because it matters to you and it matters to them.
