May is always the time of year where the big TV networks decide which shows to keep and which ones get sent home. There’s a lot of shows that got the ax this week, but I (along with a lot of people) was really surprised by one announcement.

CSI: Miami has been on for more than a decade. If you have a decent cable package, it’s on in syndication 3 times a day. CBS just announced that Horatio and the gang are not returning after 10 seasons, and they’re not even giving it a proper send-off. No series finale, no TV-movie, nothing. It’s sad for me, but at the same time it’s a little bit of a relief. As you know, David Caruso is the creepiest man on television.

See? Told ya. Anyway, I don’t have to look at that anymore, but I still loved the show. I’ll miss his one-liners that started off every episode.
Since CBS isn’t giving CSI: Miami one last chance at a one-liner to end the show, I’m forced to make one up.

“Well, it looks like CSI: Miami (put on shades)…..just got the ax!” “YEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!”

So my son wanted to grow his hair, but yesterday morning he complained his hair was in his eyes. So what does my bald, never had a haircut in his life husband do? Trims his bangs, with cuticle scissors!! Did I mention it was class picture day??? Too funny! (he looks thrilled:)
