“Jackass” star Steve-O was arrested yesterday after he climbed up on a construction crane in Hollywood, something that was apparently a protest against SeaWorld.

According to an LA Fire Department spokesperson, dozens of emergency responders showed up after receiving reports of a possible suicide attempt after an unidentified person was spotted on the crane.

By the time fire crews prepared an “air rescue cushion,” Steve-O had posted videos and photos of himself from the top of the crane on his Facebook page.

“It’s stunt time,” Steve-O wrote.

After reaching the top, he photographed a view to the ground showing his shoes standing on a narrow steel beam. In the caption, he wrote, “Did I mention that I’m really high in the air? Hearing sirens now.”

In a 17 second video and in his last post , Steve-O showed all fire engines on the street below him, with the drone of a helicopter overhead.

He had teased the stunt a day before on Instagram. “This is Shammy,” Steve-O wrote alongside a photo of himself holding an inflatable orca. “We’re gonna do a big dangerous stunt tomorrow in Los Angeles that will probably get me in a lot of trouble, and you can watch it happen at 7pm PST via a live stream on my Facebook page.”
