Sam Smith cancels rest of Australian tour due to vocal chord hemorrhage
Sam Smith has had to cancel his Australian tour due to a hemorrhage on his vocal cords.
Dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth will be rescheduled for this December.
On Instagram, Sam wrote, “I am deeply, deeply, saddened. I have been vocally exhausted for a while now however last night in Sydney I had a small haemorrhage on my vocal chords.”
Smith says he has been told by doctors to rest his voice until he has healed in order to avoid “a long-term issue.”
