Partridge Family actress dies
Actress Suzanne Crough who played Tracy, the youngest daughter on the 70’s TV show “The Partridge Family,” has died.
Crough passed away at her Nevada home on Monday.
The coroner said that the cause was unknown and that an autopsy would be performed.
Before she appeared on “The Partridge Family,” Crough had appeared only in a Barbie commercial. Her character sang backup vocals, played the tambourine and set up punch lines for her older co-stars Danny Bonaduce and David Cassidy.
After “The Partridge Family” went off the air in 1974, Crough appeared in the late 70’s drama series “Mulligan’s Stew” on NBC and in the Academy Award-winning short film “Teenage Father” in 1978.
Her last credited role was in the TV movie “Children of Divorce” in 1980.
She was 52.
