The Sarnia Legionnaires acquired goaltender Sean Parker from the Lambton Shores Predators for future considerations YESTERDAY.
Parker, who was drafted by the Sarnia Sting in the 12th round of the 2009 OHL Priority Selection has played 16 games this season for the struggling Predators.
The Legionnaires, losers of 4 of their last 5, host London on Thursday night.

The Huron Lakers Atom girls team captured a Gold Medal in the Brantford CYO Girls Basketball Tournament this past weekend.
The Huron Lakers edged Oakville 25-23 in the Championship Final, winning their first tournament of the year.

The Sting picked up back to back wins to end the weekend. Friday night they hammered the Windsor Spitfires 9-4 at the RBC Center, then doubled the Whalers in Plymouth 4-2 on Saturday night.

The Huron Lakers Novice Girls Basketball team, won bronze THIS WEEKEND at a basketball tournament in Brantford.

At the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club, Mathew Camm and his Ottawa Curling Club rink came-from-behind to beat Michael Bryson’s Toronto rink 7-5 to finish the Ontario Junior Men’s Curling Championships undefeated at 8-0 and win the right to represent the Province at the Canadian Champions in Calgary later this month.
While on the Ladies side, two Granite Club rinks from Kitchener-Waterloo faced off, with Clancy Grandy beating Jasmin Thurston 6-5 to win the Final.

The Sarnia Sting and the Windsor Spitfires made a trade this morning, just ahead of tonight’s game at the RBC Center. The Sting sending overage defenseman Brent Sullivan and goaltender John Cullen to the Spits, for overage netminder Troy Passingham and an 8th round pick in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection.
