In Germany, Brittany Rogers of Coquitlam, B.C., and Sarnia’s Dominique Pegg each won a bronze medal at a gymnastics World Cup event on Sunday to cap a strong showing for both Canadian gymnasts vying for a spot at the 2012 Olympics.
Pegg, competing for just the second time since breaking her hand at the Pan American Games last October, picked up her bronze medal with a new, crowd-pleasing floor routine.
