A Chicago Gem

Made more famous by it’s adopted daughter, Chicago really is a feast for they eyes, palate & soul…and we’re not just talking the Chicago Deep Dish Pizza Pies or the food trucks  right out of Hell’s Kitchen, that greet you  once you exit Union Station.

It had been 20 years since I had gone to Chicago, this time around though, it was with kids in tow. After talking to quite a few people, the one place we needed to take the kids to was the Shedd Aquarium.

And it was phenominal!

Choose to do it in a half day or spend the day there, there is so much to see & do; like the Outdoor Stingray petting zone. lunch at the cafe, all of the exhibits like my family’s 2  favs At Home on the Great Lakes  &  Caribbean Reef, or Abbott Oceanarium, Polar Play Zone, Amazon RisingWaters of the World, and Wild Reef.
