The Canadian Press has  released this info and if the rate of these flying off the shelves, I’d say it totally applies to Sarnia-lambton….

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recalled Champ’s Mushrooms Sliced Mini Bella Mushrooms in a 680-gram package on June 7, due to possible Listeria contamination.
They’ve also now added Sliced Crimini Mushrooms in 200 and 227 gram packages and President’s Choice Crimini Sliced Mushrooms in a 454-gram package to the recall list.

CFIA says there have been illnesses directly linked to the mushrooms, that were sold in B.C. and it’s been expanded because they might have been sold across Canada

Listeria contaminated food might not smell spoiled or look off, but it can still do some gastro-damage; nausea, vomiting, headache, persistent fever, neck stiffness & muscle aches. Plus expectant women, people with weakened immune systems & the elderly are  at higher risk.
