Best Places For Canadians To Retire In Canada

Slice Magazine did the legwork for us, so now we don’t have to figure out where on earth we’re going to live…..

…when we retire…..this list might change by the time I’m ready to  fly the golden eagle and I’m okay that Sarnia wasn’t named….we’ll just  stay quiet and keep our little gem all to ourselves…

The number 1 place for us to retire is: Kingston On!  Offering an excellent quality of life, low crime and it’s sunny 45% of the time!

Next was Ottawa, theh Burlington, followed by Rimouski QC & Moncton NB. Toronto came in 6th, Salmon Arm BC & Oakville was 8th. The last two locations aren’t in Canada, but they are highly recommended.

Modelin Columbia and Cuenca in Ecuador; The 2014 Retire Overseas Index says Cuenca is the 2nd best place to retire. It has a mild climate year-round, historic architecture & you’ll find Canadian friends there because there’s a pretty big expat community established there!

Bucket list item…I’m in…You?
