Parents – I Have To Ask

Published On May 14, 2018 | By Carrie Buchanan |

I’m a mom of three.  There are days I think I’m doing ok.  And days I have no clue. Still.

What I’m struggling with right now is this.  How do you know when to step in for your kids?

An incident with my youngest and her friends has got me concerned.  If kids are treating your child in a way that causes harm – emotional, not physical. Do you step in?

Do you talk to the parents?

Do you talk to the school? The teacher? The principle?

Do you let them sort it out?

I am feeling frustrated and hate seeing my daughter upset.  HATE IT.

How long do you wait?  Do you believe you’re doing more damage if you step in?
