This Is An Amazing Feel-Good Story
An Oklahoma family, grieving their dad and husband had an incredible surprise. A letter from heaven? Seems kind of like it.
Less than three months after he passed away from pancreatic cancer, Sandy Seibold and her daughter Saige went to visit the grave of husband/father John Seibold on Father’s Day. They wanted to something to remember him,. They thought the idea of balloons to heaven to her dad was a good idea so they bought a few balloons and attached a note to it, asking the person who finds them to reach out to family.
The balloons ended up back at their own house 25 miles away. Goosebumps yet? Did you get the feels on this because I sure did?
Anybody who has ever lost someone they love looks for signs after they are gone. I watch for Cardinals and Hummingbirds — sometimes at just the right moment I will see a bird that comes close and feel a sense of comfort. Silly maybe. But they remind me of my mom. My cousin Jackie told me of finding dimes. Randomly finding a dime in the house is a message from Heaven. She visited last summer and after she left, when I put on a jacket I hadn’t worn in a long time I found three dimes in the pocket. What are the odds of that? I lost my mom, brother and sister in 1990. 3 dimes that day.
So I love this story. I love that for this one family they have a sense of peace now, and feel like they are being watched from Heaven.
