Red Nose Day

Yesterday was Red Nose Day.  You may have seen some headlines about it, and wondered what the heck it’s all about, and why people are wearing a red nose.  Red Nose Day  is a campaign dedicated to raising money for children and young people living in poverty by simply having fun and making people laugh.

The very first day in the US saw people all across the country come together to have fun and raise funds and awareness, and it all finished with a 3-hour tv special last night on NBC featuring big name stars, comedians and musicians.

Among the events yesterday — Chris Martin of Coldplay compiled Game of Thrones – The Musical which I can’t stop watching.  Knowing it’s for a good cause just makes it that much more enjoyable.
