After it’s release on Friday, she now holds the record for biggest music video debut in YouTube history, earning 55.4 million views in it’s first 24 hours. YouTube also confirmed it’s the fastest video to earn 100 million views, reaching the number just four days after it’s release.
The video is a tribute of sorts to popular female-led movies from the early 2000s including Mean Girls and Legally Blonde. You may see some familiar faces. Jonathan Bennett, who played Aaron Samuels and Stefanie Drummond, who played Bethany Byrd, both made cameos. Jennifer Coolidge who starred as nail salon worker Legally Blonde makes an appearance. She also seems to take a shot at the president of the United States, reenacting a memorable Legally Blonde moment, reading a book with the title Immigration and Refugee Law and Policy.
